Today is my 39th birthday, the first day of the last year of my 30s. My husband, who is 7 years older than me, says he doesn’t mind getting older because his life keeps getting better and better. He’s right, and mine does, too. I have a wonderful husband, a gaggle of great friends (old and new), and a family that I adore. I couldn’t have said all that at 29.
